So, there's this thing that people do on their cellular phones called Four Square, and as far as I can tell it doesn't involve balls or standing in squares. What it does involve is telling your cellular phone where you are all the time - like it's your mom and it cares.
After you go somewhere again and again and again you become the mayor, prison doesn't count, and you rule that very little place in the world in your mind.
Now, Foursquare does not stand up in court- you can't just have stuff when you go places because you are the mayor.
In fact it doesn't really mean anything and I am embarrassed I spent so much time researching it, but I did find the highest decorated mayors in all the land..... and of course- they are GAPERS.........

The lack of snow at the places I have been privileged to frequent could be devastating to some
but I'm just beginning the season of my life.

and friends.
Most of the hill was open and the trip was filled with sweet Sun Valley bluebird days.
I missed the bowls terribly. 
We discovered the horrors of doppelgapers.
and had some detonating fun.

Spent two days here with lil sis Mary and there was pow, cause it's Targhee.
but there was a lot of stuff hiding ready to bite

Spent two days with the Giant
about half the massive resort was open, no stash or pipe, but they've got some new parks.
Was cool to see Killington doing well after hurricane Irene- they got hit pretty hard.
Day two the famous blue stuff came out- I believe it's called ice?
Just suck it up and go straight

Jay Peak- Vermont (they say it's VT but it's like, really Canada)
Spent four days here with The Giant, Zims, and Yuko.
I only rode two, due to my traitor of a foot.

Jay is where it is at in the east.
And the trees are where it's at, at Jay.
Thank goodness they had some snow.
It didn't get warmer than -5, and that was balmy.
Can't wait to return.

Something very frighting has been happening on hills across the earth. Doppelgapers have been appearing everywhere. Now a doppelgånger (a paranormal double of a living person, typically representing evil or misfortune) is terrifying enough- but a doppelgaper can ruin your life. People see this Gaper, gaping about the hill and they believe it is you. Your reputation is ruined and basically people start trying to kill you. No one is willing to acknowledge that this is becoming a serious problem so I have taken it upon myself to document this atrocity. 

In this upcoming very serious video I have captured my little sister Mary's Doppelgaper. This Doppelgaper seems to be a jumpsuit pseudo shredder. You know, the kind that pushes every turn? Reminds me of "stupid sexy Flanders" from the Simpsons. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CL4iVQyp9L4)

I heard a marvelous story today while I was in the lift line.

A Gaper dad turns around and asks his Gaper wife if she noticed that their three year old soon-to-be-gaper-son had lost a ski before. She hadn't noticed. Gaper dad told Gaper mom that they were half way up the mountain before he realized that his little boy only had one ski. Gaper dad- "No One Noticed!".
