WEST RIDE STORIES- BRECKENRIDGE

Mary Toft aka squatting bear coming off the top (snow white) of Breck

Last season middle sis was a liftie at Breck. So naturally lil' sis and I had to visit her floor.

Rachel Toft aka blanket as kape hitting the shoots in Breck

We got two days in at Breck. We mainly skied with Rach, but she had to work sometimes so  she gave us some tips of things to look out for when we were in the trees. Mainly the tips consisted of- don't fall in the creek.

See that hole? There were a lot of those.

One day when Rach was werking the steezy 5 chair Mary and i decided to hike to the chutes behind Peak 9.
It had to be easier than hiking to the top (12,998') which we had already done.

Mary sinking in

Yeah- there's a reason people use skins and snowshoes. It was worth it, though......

me getting that corn

Later on, we found out there was trail from Peak nine that you could easily ride downhill to get to where we hiked. Guess small brain problems run in the family.

the squatter stare

We ran into our awful doppelgapers

Another successful family trip

me loving the shoots

More CO stories to come (the Beav. and Vail) with the lovely Genna and the lovely Carrie.
Thanks to Chris, Corey, Joser and friends for making the nights, well Breckenridge nights- see you guys soon.
